1) Eligibility (17+)
The Service is intended for users aged 17 and older. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 17 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2) Account registration and security

- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or security incident.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable use. You agree not to:

- Upload, generate, share, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or bypass security features of the Service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks.
- Misuse support, reporting, or moderation systems.
We may remove content or restrict access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or created risk or harm.
5) User content and permissions
You may upload or create content (such as photos, videos, and text prompts) and generate outputs (such as edited videos) using the Service ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content.
Limited license to operate the Service. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display your User Content solely as necessary to provide requested features, keep the Service reliable, and enforce these Terms.
You are responsible for your User Content and for ensuring you have all required rights and consents.
6) AI-assisted features and server-side processing
Some filters, effects, or generation features may involve AI-assisted processing. If you choose a feature that requires uploading images, videos, or text for processing:
- Your uploaded content is processed on servers operated by Verses Team.
- We do not share your uploaded content with third parties for processing, advertising, or training.
- Uploaded inputs are deleted promptly after processing is completed.
- You control whether to upload content and whether to generate output.
7) Third-party services and sharing
The Service may allow you to share content to third-party platforms. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
8) Intellectual property
The Service (excluding User Content) is owned by Verses Team or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
9) Feedback
If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant us the right to use it without restriction or compensation, unless prohibited by law.
10) Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation, or that outputs will meet your expectations.
11) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verses Team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
Verses Team’s total liability will not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability.
12) Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Verses Team from claims and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13) Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, your use poses risk, or we are required to do so by law.
14) Changes
We may update the Service or these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice where required. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
15) Governing law and dispute resolution (binding arbitration)
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Verses Team’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Binding arbitration. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, and not in a class or representative action, except where prohibited by law.
Nothing limits either party’s right to seek injunctive or equitable relief for misuse of intellectual property or unauthorized access that threatens irreparable harm.
16) Apple platform terms
- These Terms are between you and Verses Team, not Apple.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Service.
- Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
